Hillbilly Casino make Dublin debut
The rockabilly wing of the Motorhead fan club are in The Button Factory.
If Imelda May has piqued your interest in all things rockabilly, make sure to check out Nashvlle barnstormers Hillybilly Casino who make their Dublin debut on April 30 in The Button Factory.
Fronted by former Blue Moon Boys singer Nic Roulette – love the name! – their ranks also include BR5-49 bassist Geoff Firebaugh and Ronnie Crutcher who previously traded guitar licks with Brian Setzer.
They’ve caused a major stir with their current Three Step Windup album, which adds a touch of Black Flag/Fugazi-style aggression to the standard quiff ‘n’ drainpipe blueprint.
Support is provided by local heroes Spellbound.
Here are the chaps having a crack at Motorhead's 'Iron Fist'.
