OK, so it’s a bit of a slow week but ‘Hey Mr DJ’ is probably the best thing the Belfast Cowboy has done in years, even if it is a clever re-working of Sam Cooke’s ‘Having A Party’. More significantly, it continues Van’s long love affair with radio, going right back to ‘Brown Eyed Girl’, ‘Caravan’ and ‘Wavelength’.
