Will Merriman has collaborated on a project with artist Padraig McCaul.
The extremely wonderful Will Merriman returns to the fray this week with the release of The Light Of Which I Speak, a collaboration with painter Padraig McCaul.
“In 1798 a small force of French troops landed off the coast of North Mayo in support of the Irish uprising against the British forces,” explains the promo blurb. “These events provide the inspiration for The Light Of Which I Speak.”
The album is being made available through The Bad Art Gallery, 79 Francis Street, Dublin 8 where an exhibition of McCaul’s work is taking place between February 19 and March 19 – see badartgallery.ie for more info.
Also due later in the year is the fifth studio album from Merriman’s band, The Harvest Ministers.
