Happy Valley Festival to rock Kilkenny
Kíla and Miracle Bell will feature
A host of Irish bands are set to descend on Kilkenny to kick off the Summer festival season in style. The seventh annual Happy Valley Festival takes place in Thomastown between June 1 and 6 and promises to be one of the more eclectic events of the year.
Saturday June 4 will see Irish folk legends Kíla take to the stage at the Bridgebrook Arms. Support on the night comes from Tom Kirwan, Grum & the Duende Dogs and Seven Summits with tickets priced at €22.
Sunday offers great value in the form of the festival's "15 bands for €15" promotion. Kicking off at 12 noon in Eddie Murphy's Beergarden and featuring some of Ireland's top up-and-coming talent including Miracle Bell, Bipolar Empire and The River Valley Band, this is one show you can't afford to miss.
Tickets for both gigs are available from Rollercoaster Records and Murphy's Bar.
For more information on the festival you can visit the official website.
