Grouper and John Wiese for Dublin
Two acts are confirmed as part of DEAF 2009
Acclaimed shoegaze / acoustic musician Liz Harris will brings her Grouper project to Dublin city on Friday 30 October. Also performing on the night will be LA avant garde composer John Wiese, who has previously collaborate with the likes of Sunn O))), Merzbow and Wolf Eyes. The two artists will perform as part of DEAF 2009.
Details for the venue are still to be confirmed, but Skinny Wolves promotions have confirmed that the two artists will indeed perform in the city on Halloween eve, October 30. Doors are likely to be at 8.30pm for the show, which will feature Harris bringing her blissful, reverb-drenched acoustic compositions and soft, falling vocals to the country for the first time, while Wiese's ecstatic noise worship will provide very different sort of aural feast on the night.
