Garage Gigs return
Rebel Discretion, Shine, The Wayward and Faceless kick off another series of unsigned band showcases
Having taken a well-earned breather, the 2003 series of Garage Gigs roars into life on April 12 with a four-band blowout in Dublin's Sidewalk Café.
Descending on the new venue, which is just off the northern end of O'Connell Street, are Rebel Discretion, Shine, The Wayward and Faceless.
The Saturday night action continues with Ali, No Logo, Payload, Wicker & Bailer (19); Chubbs Peterson Project, Cuba, Resin, The Wesleys & Aine Tyrrell (26); and Metal Night (May 3).
There will be regular updates in Hot Press' Garageland section and, of course, on hotpress.com which will be streaming music from some of the participating bands.
If you want in on the action, send demos to Garageland, Ashtown Recording Studios, Pelletstown House, Dublin 15.
