The One Where They Get Back Together? Perhaps, but the reunion of David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc might not go exactly as fans have imagined
If it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, then there's good news - the cast of Friends will be there for you.
Some 12 years after we said goodbye to Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Phoebe and Joey, the cast of the hit show are set to reunite for a two-hour TV tribute to a legend of sitcom directing next month.
The NBC show will tip the cap to James Burrows, who's been the man taking charge behind the lens for more than 1,000 of the world's most successful comedies - 15 episodes of Friends among them.
Here, however, is where things start to go downhill. Already, the Chairman of NBC, Robert Greenblatt, has suggested that getting all cast members in the same room may not be possible; “I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off,” he told reporters.
Secondly, it's expected that the casts of other shows Burrows has directed - Frasier, Will And Grace, Cheers among them - could take part, which suggests a straight-forward return to Central Perk isn't a runner.
We're still looking forward to seeing what happens though; the gang will be there for you when the show airs on February 21.
