Fontaines D.C. to release Rosalía collaboration as limited edition 7"
The collaborative single marks their first-ever guest vocalist on a track.
Fontaines D.C. have announced that they will release their collaborative track with Rosalía, 'Where Is Gone?', as a limited edition white label 7".
The vinyl will only be available at exclusive listening parties on October 8.
These events will be held at a number of record stores across Ireland, including Ben O'Neill Music Shop Dungarvan, Bending Sound Records in Bangor, HMV in Belfast, Spindizzy Records and Tower Records in Dublin, among others.
The collaborative single marks their first-ever guest vocalist on a track. It is part of the band's upcoming album, Dopamine Chamber, out October 16 via XL Recordings.
Two tracks off the album have already been released - 'Marianne' and, most-recently, 'Tongue'.
'Marianne' became the band's highest-charting single to date in both the UK and Ireland - with a placement at No. 2 on the Official Irish Singles Chart.
"The album itself is a dopamine chamber," said frontman Grian Chatten. "You step inside and we test these different mind or mood-altering pieces of music on you.
"There's a poignant sense of us being on the brink of some other kind of form of humanity, or non-humanity," he added.
According to the band, the record sees them move into "darker and more synthetic sounds," searching for pleasure "in a world tipping towards collapse" from digital and artificial threats.
The full tracklist was released last month.
Following the release of the record, the Dublin band will embark on a tour of the UK and Europe, including a sold-out stop at Slane Castle on June 26 and 27.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, Rosalía received Songwriter of the Year at the 2026 Ivor Novello Awards.
The recognition celebrates an international songwriter whose released songs had a cultural and commercial impact in the UK over the past year.
It followed the sharing of Rosalía's 2025 album LUX, known for its use of 13 different languages and genre-bending qualities. It received a 9.5/10 from Hot Press and received 5 Billboard No. 1 chart placements.
