Fontaines D.C. share Dopamine Chamber tracklist featuring Rosalía
'Marianne' recently became the first Fontaines D.C. single to score two weeks in the Top 40 of the UK Official Singles Chart.
Fontaines D.C. have shared the full tracklist for their upcoming fifth album Dopamine Chamber, out October 16, with one song featuring a collaboration with Rosalía.
Also on the tracklist are lead single 'Marianne' and two new fan favourites recently debuted live in the form of 'Six Shot Morning' and 'Happy For You'. The duet with the Spanish pop star is titled 'Where Is Gone?' - this marks the band's first-ever guest vocalist on a track.
"The album itself is a dopamine chamber," said frontman Grian Chatten. "You step inside and we test these different mind or mood-altering pieces of music on you."
"There's a poignant sense of us being on the brink of some other kind of form of humanity, or non-humanity," he added.
According to the band, the record sees them move into "darker and more synthetic sounds," searching for pleasure "in a world tipping towards collapse" from digital and artificial threats.
Dopamine Chamber follows their 2024 record, Romance, which reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and received a nomination for Best Rock Album at the Grammys. They also recently made contributions to the Peaky Blinders: Immortal Man soundtrack and the War Child HELP(2) album.
Meanwhile, 'Marianne' also recently became the first Fontaines D.C. single to score two weeks in the Top 40 of the UK Official Singles Chart.
Following the release of the album, the Dublin band will embark on a tour of the UK and Europe, before a run of stadium and outdoor dates in 2027 with Little Simz and Viagra Boys.
This includes a stop at Slane Castle on June 26 and 27, 2027. Tickets are available here.
