“Down Beside Your Beauty, our first effort as Favourite Sons, was written during a time of great loss in my life, which frankly overshadowed any real desire to create art,” he reflects. “The result was a raw spill of emotion, which has its merits but was a bit of a step off the artistic path I’d been on. After some time had passed and done its kind healing, I could feel it again; see and hear it again, the melodies and words that had once offered me a whole world to visit. The result of this group’s enduring friendship and desire to create a reaching music is The Great Deal Of Love, enjoy.”
