Both Dave Grohl's and Kurt Cobain's documentaries have been nominated for Emmy Awards

Montage of Heck which documents the antics of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana has been nominated for 7 Emmy awards while Grohl's "Sonic Highways" has picked up 4 nominations. Nirvana fans can find out the results of the Emmy's on September 20 when the ceremony takes place in L.A's Microsoft Theatre. Watch the trailer for Grohl's 'Sonic Highways' below.
