Doors documentary "an antidote to the poison of Oliver Stone"
Doors legend Ray Manzarek tells Hot Press that When You’re Strange is "the real Doors, not some drugged out Hollywood director making his version of what he thinks Jim Morrison was"
The documentary features footage of the band shot between 1965 and 1971 and is narrated by Johnny Depp, and directed by Tom DiCillo.
“Its just Jim, Ray, John and Robby, there are no talking heads. It’s the hippy era, it’s the sixties, the riotous sixties. It’s going to be great!” Manzarek says.
