Dermot Kennedy and Irish Women in Harmony dominate the Official Irish Homegrown Charts
Another exciting week in the world of Irish music
It's been another exciting week for Irish music, with a brand new Fontaines D.C. album as well as a new single from Roisin Murphy. But over on the Official Irish Homegrown Charts, already established favourites hold on to the top five slots.
Fontaines' 'A Lucid Dream' debuted at number 7, while Roisin Murphy's 'Something More' made its chart debut in the 12th position.
Dermot Kennedy's 'Giants' has held the number one spot five weeks running, entering its seventh consecutive week on the chart. Irish Women in Harmony's cover of 'Dreams' climb in the top five to the 3rd slot, while Picture This remain firmly situated in the number 2 slot with 'Unconditional'. Elsewhere in the chart, Denise Chaila remains in the top ten with 'Chaila'.
