Derek Ryan and Iron Maiden storm Albums Chart
Two new entries occupy the top two slots.
All change at the summit of the Irish Albums Chart, and it's an unlikely pairing that are responsible.
Our new number one, usurping last week's biggest-seller Ryan Sheridan, is Carlow's Derek Ryan. The former D-Side pop singer went the country & Irish route a couple of years back and it's clearly paying off, as One Good Night is in with a golden bullet.
Just behind Derek are some heavy metal veterans. Iron Maiden's brand new The Book Of Souls debuts in second place. An old familiar in the form of Ed Sheeran's X rises a spot into third, while The Weeknd's Beauty Behind The Madness slips slightly down into fourth. Another new entry, Australian YouTube star Troye Sivan sees his Wild EP, round off the Top 5.
