Demo call goes out for IMRO Showcase Tour

Entries are being sought for this year's IMRO Showcase Tour, which will travel all over Ireland in March and April.
Acts have up until Friday February 12 to send a website or MySpace link to [email protected] and then keep their fingers and various other bits crossed.
In past years, the tour has proved to be an important shop window for the likes of Fight Like Apes, Declan O'Rourke, Halves and Delorentos whose Ronan Yourell says: "It was an important step in the development of our band as we gained invaluable experience through the gigs and also met some really cool people."
The 2010 itinerary includes The Limelight & Katy Daly's, Belfast (March 25); Crawdaddy, Dublin (26); TBC (27); Crawdaddy, Dublin (April 1); Cyprus Avenue, Cork (3); TBC (8); Spirit Store, Dundalk (9); Crawdaddy, Dublin (10); Mason's Bar, Derry (15); Late Lounge, Kildare (16); Cellar Bar, Draperstown (17); Sugar Club, Dublin (23); and Dolan's, Limerick (24).
The trek then culminates in a Best Of Tour bash on April 30 in the Dublin Academy which will be attended by a large A&R contingent.
