Irish blues heroes The Deans will play The Stables in Mullingar on January 22 and 23. Also on the bill are the Metallica tribute band Metallitia.

2009 saw The Deans release their much-admired EP Distraction. In what was an ultra-busy year for the trio, they undertook their first extensive tour of Europe, including 35 shows in seven countries in six weeks. They played the 43rd Montreux Jazz Festival and also supported Blues Godfather John Mayall for two gigs in The Academy in Dublin.
