DEAF seeks acts for promo CD
The Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) is looking for Irish electronic artists to contribute to a 32-track promo CD that will form part of its marketing campaign.
The Dublin Electronic Arts Festival (DEAF) returns this October, to bring both international and local electronic acts to the capital for one weekend.
This year, DEAF are planning a 32-track double CD to showcase the best new electronic music in Ireland.
The festival is now calling on all Irish-based electronic acts to submit tracks for the CD, which will be inserted into the festival programme and distributed as a free giveaway at the press launch in September. A key part of the festival's promotional campaign, all 32 tracks will be free to download on www.deafireland.com.
Tracks must be no longer than 4 minutes, and only one track may be submitted per artist name (multiple tracks may, however, be submitted under pseudonyms). Entries may be posed on CD, or via email with links for download. The closing date for submissions is July 14.
Send entries to: DEAF Music 2008, 68 Dame Street, Dublin 2
Email download links to: [email protected] with "DEAF 2008 CD Music" in the subject line.
