Daniel Craig hopes his Bond is "not as sexist" as in the past

Spectre, the 24th James Bond film, hits Irish screens on November 6 and sees Daniel Craig once again donning the famous tuxedo.
The English actor has already hit the promotional trail and, in a recent interview with Esquire, he painted James Bond as a vaguely pathetic, out-of-time character.
“He’s very fucking lonely,” the 47-year-old told the publication. “There’s a great sadness. He’s fucking these beautiful women but then they leave and it’s… sad. And as a man gets older it’s not a good look. It might be a nice fantasy – that’s debatable – but the reality, after a couple of months…
"Hopefully, my Bond is not as sexist and misogynistic as [previous incarnations]," he continued. "The world has changed. I am certainly not that person. But he is, and so what does that mean? It means you cast great actresses and make the parts as good as you can for the women in the movies."
Spectre will also star Léa Seydoux, Monica Bellucci, Christoph Waltz and Ralph Fiennes.
