The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows started life as a stand-alone orchestral piece inspired by Iceland's landscape. However, Albarn developed the idea into a full solo album during the pandemic. Irish fans will be able to hear this new collection of songs live in The National Concert Hall, on February 23 and 24, 2022.
