AIM announces return of AIM Connects at Whelan's
The event will feature panel topics such as The Advancement of AI in Music, What Really Breaks an Artist in 2026, and Building Live Careers to Managing an Artist to International Success.
AIM Ireland has announced the second edition of the annual AIM Connects event, set for May 27 at Whelan's.
Professionals in the Irish and international music industry will gather to discuss the future of independent music through a series of panels and presentations.
“The independent music sector is navigating a period of profound change, shaping how we do business," says AIM Managing Director Colm Hanley.
"From evolving technology and rights to how artists build careers, AIM Connects brings those conversations to the fore, discussing the topics that are challenging our industry and setting out Ireland as a leader within that change.”
The event will feature panel topics such as The Advancement of AI in Music, What Really Breaks an Artist in 2026, and Building Live Careers to Managing an Artist to International Success, How to Launch a 360 Music Campaign as an Independent and the Future of Independent Music Venues.
Featured keynote speakers include Niamh Byrne co-founder of Eleven Management (Gorillaz, Blur) and Jay Pidgeon, founder of Purple Wall artist and music management.
Niall Byrne of Nialler9 and RTE broadcaster Tracey Clifford are also among the confirmed speakers.
