Robbie Williams shares autism diagnosis

Robbie Williams has opened up about his autism diagnosis during a Q&A launch of his clothing brand in London.

"I have ADHD and I just found out I have a bit of autism as well, which I actually fucking love because it explains so much. It is my get-out-of-jail-free card now, and all the weird shit that I do I just say, 'Sorry, I’m autistic,'" said the pop star.

The former Take That member has previously spoken about his ADHD, and told the Daily Mail this month: "With the ADHD you can completely and utterly concentrate on something 1000 per cent, but with absolutely everything else, you just cannot do it. Ask my kids."

The singer has also spoken about "masking" and experiencing anxiety.

Williams told a story via Instagram about being on a plane, when a fan wrote him a note and asked for a picture. "I've got bags under my eyes and I'm dealing with anxiety. I explained that if they came and took a photo with me, my anxiety would spike - because then the whole cabin would start wondering who I am," he wrote.

In January of this year, the singer released his newest studio album Britpop, which led to the singer topping The Beatles all time record for the most UK Number 1 albums ever.

Williams is set to do a UK and Ireland tour in 2027, with two dates at Thomond Park Stadium, Limerick for July 6 and 7. In August 2025, the singer attracted a huge crowd at Dublin's Croke Park.
