Emma Langford, Sean Ronayne and Ben MacCaoilte to tour new show Crónán

Emma Langford, Seán Ronayne and Ben MacCaoilte are set to tour their immersive live show Crónán, from November to February.

The show brings together elements of storytelling, song and immersive soundscapes from each artist, across four shows.

Crónán is the Irish word for the sounds that you can hear in nature, usually a low hum or drone.

"Crónán is the hum of nature that surrounds us all, the falling of a wave, the trickle of a stream, the buzzing of a bee, the hum that inspires story and song if we just stop to hear it," poet and storyteller MacCaoilte shared to his Instagram.

"Combining immersive soundscapes, song and storytelling, the show is neither a traditional concert nor a lecture, but a shared journey that inspires wonder, reflection and connection."

Ronayne is an award-winning natural sound recordist, amassing almost ten thousand recordings in the last three years. He has been on the BBC, The Tommy Tiernan Show, Ireland AM and written a book titled Nature Boy in 2024.

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Langford roots her music in storytelling, history, mythology and social justice. The folk artist toured Ireland in June for the tenth anniversary of her debut, self-titled EP, and is set to continue throughout August and September.
