Damien Dempsey has announced a show in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens on July 17, 2026
The summer show will follow a run of six Christmas gigs in Dublin’s Vicar Street, as well as two nights in Cork and one in Galway and Limerick in December.
The Donaghmede native also recently announced the 'Sallins Inquiry Now!' benefit show at Vicar Street in March 2026, accompanied by Kíla, John Spillane, Pauline Scanlon and more.

Born and raised in the mid-1970s in Donaghmede, and trained as a boxer with his older brothers, competing for Dublin before committing himself to music, releasing his debut album in 2000.
After a seven-year wait, Damien released the double album Hold Your Joy in 2024, which received a 9/10 from Hot Press, writing that “the Donaghmede native’s music pulses through the artistic blood of Dublin and beyond.”
