Cranes for Whelan's
It's their first gig here for 18 years!
Shoegazy goth types Cranes make a rare trip to Dublin on April 17 for a show in Whelan’s. Tickets are €18.
“It’s our first time since 1992!” they enthuse. “We can’t wait! We’ve wanted to go to Ireland for years!”
Ah, shucks! The band, who are also America-bound later in the year, will be plugging their eponymous ninth album, which came out in October 2008 but never got the attention it deserved.
The Portsmouth outfit have also had their 1994 masterpiece, Loved, re-issued by Cherry Red with seven bonus tracks.
