Covered in Punk

MTV2’s Breaking Point (a kind of reality talent show for real bands) was hugely entertaining television but the four singles to emerge from it aren’t quite so engaging. ‘Covered In Punk’ is the one exception. Always the most memorable track on the show – and played continuously – it is a confetti bomb of a song, exploding into colour at the first chorus. The chances are that they’ll end up as this year’s Republica –worryingly they can’t seem to come up with any other songs – yet you can bet they’ll make the most of their short time in the sunshine.
