CMAT's LIDO festival day in London's Victoria Park cancelled
As well as a headline performance from CMAT, her curated day festival was also set to feature Junior Brother, Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, and more
London's LIDO Festival has confirmed that it will be cancelling part of its programme for 2026 – including its June 12 event headlined and curated by CMAT.
The festival – which was set to take place in Victoria Park in East London over three days in June – has announced that it is "unable to take place in June to protect park ground conditions".
The June 13 event, headlined by Maribou State, has been rescheduled to August 31, while the other days of the festival (the CMAT-led event on June 12 and the Bombay Bicycle Club-led event on June 14) will be cancelled.
Ticketholders will receive a full refund, organisers have said, with further details available here.
In a statement, LIDO said that an "extensive reseeding and improvement programme" in Victoria Park after last summer's drought has proved successful, but following "one of the wettest winters in recent history", they were advised to give "these newly improved areas a little more time before starting the festival programme."

LIDO Festival, which launched in summer 2025, describes itself as "a fan-first festival" in which "globally loved artists... take the lead on the event curation".
In addition to a headline performance CMAT, her specially-curated day-festival was due to feature sets from fellow Irish act Junior Brother, alongside the likes of Father John Misty, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Elizabeth Copeland, Getdown Services, Katy J Pearson, Jacqui McShee’s Pentangle and Zakia (DJ).
In her own statement this afternoon, CMAT said that she is "truly devastated not to be able to play this festival."
"I realise this will cause issues for some of you who have bought tickets and may be travelling and for that I can only say sorry," she added.
