Watch: CMAT performs on Saturday Night Live UK

CMAT performed on Saturday Night Live UK on Saturday, September 12. The Dunboyne singer was the musical guest, with Jeff Goldblum hosting the show.

She is the first Irish musical guest on SNL UK. Nicola Coughlan and Graham Norton hosted the show in season one in 2025, while Jamie Dornan hosted in season two, which is currently airing. SNL UK is the UK iteration of the long-running American comedy show Saturday Night Live.

CMAT first performed 'Stay For Something', from her 2023 album Crazymad, For Me.

She then performed 'EURO-COUNTRY', the title track from her 2025 album of the same name.

CMAT also featured in the skit '45 More Seconds with Fouracres', alongside SNL UK cast member George Fouracres.

Following the release of her third album EURO-COUNTRY in August 2025, the singer has toured Ireland, the UK, North America, Europe, and Australia.

CMAT performed a sold-out show in St. Anne's Park, Dublin in May, and in Virgin Media Park, Cork in June. She performed on the Main Stage at Electric Picnic in August.

The singer announced in July that she will not be performing live in 2027. Speaking to Annie McManus on an episode of the BBC Radio 6 podcast Sidetracked, she explained how her work schedule had become overwhelming.

"I’m not doing any live music next year. The next calendar year, of 2027, I’m not performing any live music at all,” CMAT said. "I don’t know if I was supposed to say that, but that’s what’s happening. And I don’t care – you can come fight me if you want."

"I’ve been on tour for six years and I’m literally losing my mind. And I don’t stop. In the six years post-covid basically, because my career started during covid, any time I had a three-to-four-month period off, I made a record," she said.

The Irish pop-country singer won the Best Album award at the Ivor Novello awards 2026 in May for EURO-COUNTRY.
