CMAT announced as musical guest for Saturday Night Live UK

Saturday Night Live UK is set to return on September 12 – with CMAT announced as the musical guest for the opening episode, which will be hosted by Jeff Goldblum.

The first season of the UK edition of SNL wrapped up in May, and included appearances from Irish stars Nicola Coughlan, Graham Norton, and Chris O'Dowd, as well as musical acts like Wolf Alice, Foo Fighters, Wet Leg and Jorja Smith.

Six brand new episodes are set to air over the coming weeks, with additional shows planned for early 2027.

Over the past week, CMAT has played major sets at both Electric Picnic and Belfast's Custom House Square – and marked the one-year anniversary of her acclaimed third album with the release of a new EP, EURO-COUNTRY (Live at St Anne's).

EURO-COUNTRY was CMAT's third consecutive No.1 album in Ireland, and earned her an Ivor Novello Award, as well as her second Choice Prize.

Saturday Night Live UK returns to Sky One and NOW on September 12.
