Chic for Irish return
Nile Rodgers & Co. are doing their legendary thing in the Dublin Tripod.
Having played one of the live sets of the year at Electric Picnic, Chic pay a May 28 visit to the Dublin Tripod, which one suspects will be upgraded to somewhere bigger like the O2.
Tickets priced €37.50 and €42.50 are available now. It's the first show they've ever played in the capital and will include such dancefloor classic as 'Le Freak', 'I Want Your Love' and 'Good Times'.
As well as prepping his autobiography – he’s just finished the sections on Stevie Ray Vaughan, Mick Jagger and Michael Hutchence – Chic mainman Nile Rodgers is also working on two musicals, recording with Bryan Ferry and lining up acts for the next We Are Family Foundation charity gig. And there was Miriam O’Callaghan saying on TV last night that men can’t multi-task!
