Cheap Chat worthy of a gong
A doff of the HP Newsdesk headphones to the presenters of Wired FM's The Cheap Chat Show who are up for a gong in the Radio/Arts category of the 2004 Oxegen Student Media Awards
Undergraduates at the Limerick School of Art and Design, Joanne McCarthy and Stephen Murphy do their cultural happenings thing every Tuesday from 8 to 9pm on 96.8 and 106.8FM.
It's one of four programmes that air Monday to Thursday under the Hot Press Hour banner and which - we're being completely unbiased here - all deserve copious amounts of silverware.
