Charity night this weekend
A special gig in aid of STOP, which provides support to people affected by suicide, is taking place in Dublin this weekend.
STOP (Suicide - Teach - Organise - Prevent) will be organising a night at Slattery's in Rathmines featuring three Kildare acts.
indie-rockers Valentine Tank, singer/songwriter Eamon Brady and the trad-influenced Fia Rua will all play acoustically on Saturday April 28.
Entry is €5, and all proceeds will go to STOP, who are hoping to open their own premises where the 20-odd volunteers can dedicate themselves to their work.
