The Star Wars actress slept with the two music icons when she was just 17, according to a new book.
Back in 1973, Carrie Fisher, who would go on to marry Paul Simon, was studying at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
It was while attending a party with her mother Debbie Reynolds that she was first introduced to both musicians – and went on to then have secret affairs with them, while they were in relationships at the time.
In the new biography about Carrie Fisher, one of her close friends tells the two authors that despite being gay, the Queen frontman "occasionally seduced a woman".
“In addition to an endless parade of boys and young men on the side, Mercury occasionally seduced a young woman and had a long-time relationship with Mary Austin… Carrie said she didn’t want to interfere with his ongoing love affair, but he dismissed her concerns,” actress Joan Hackett told authors Darwin Porter and Danforth Prince.
On David Bowie, Hackett said that he “seemed to survive for days on brain-sizzling cocaine, drinking only milk for nourishment.
“Some nights were torture for him as he sank into a cocaine pit of hell… He could be ruthless, mean, jealous. At other times, he conquered his demons and could be sweet and tender, wanting and needing love.”
She also said that Bowie told her: “I’m adored by millions of fans, but I feel at times like I’m all by myself out there on the edge of a cliff that is slowly giving way.”
The biography ‘Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds’ will hit the stores in August.
