Hot Press is pleased to announce another nation-wide search for Irish music talent to have a music video directed and produced (at no cost) by film students from the illustrious Tisch School of Performing Arts at New York University.
Last year the competition was a resounding success, with The Frank and Walters and The Walls among the chosen acts to have their video made and shown on television stations in Ireland and beyond. Other acts who have been captured on celluloid by Tisch students include: Republic of Loose, La Rocca, Julie Feeney, The Radio, Alphastates, Juno Falls, The Rags, The Chapters, The Spikes, Twin Elect, Beautiful Unit and many more.
“It’s a brilliant opportunity for the artists and bands,” says Niall Stokes of Hot Press. “They get enormously valuable experience working in front of the camera and the opportunity is open to all acts at all levels”.
How To Enter
1. Submit a recording of the track(s) you believe deserves to have a music video.
2. Send a picture of the applicant-band/artist
3. Give us a brief biography in no more than 250 words-your musical direction, your history and why you think a music video should be produced for your track.
Closing date for entries is Monday, 2 February. Entries can be sent by email or post to: [email protected] or ‘See Your Music In Motion’, Hot Press, 13 Trinity St, Dublin 2.
