Buck Meek of Big Thief announces new album The Mirror
The new single 'Gasoline' is out now.
Buck Meek has announced the release of his new album The Mirror, out February 27 via 4AD.
The announcement is accompanied by the record's lead single and music video 'Gasoline', directed by Noel Paul and starring Ken Woodward, Adam Brisbin, and Jesse Quebbeman-Turley, who also perform on the track.
The album release will be followed by Buck Meek's first tour since 2023, which will include a Dublin show in Whelan's on March 16.
The Mirror, produced by Meek's bandmate and Big Thief's drummer James Krivchenia, welcomes Alex Somers on synthesisers, toy microphone and piano, alongside Mary Lattimore on harp. It also features a rotating cast of four drummers, (Jesse Quebbeman-Turley, Jonathan Wilson, Kyle Crane, and Krivchenia) and a small choir featuring Adrianne Lenker, and more.
