Brandon Flowers has announced an Academy show on September 22 - the night before Arthur's Day, when the singer will also perform live.

The Killers frontman, who is set to release his debut solo album, spoke fondly about our green isle when his Arthur's Day performance was announced: "Ireland has always been a special place for me, and the Irish are some of the world's most enthusiastic music fans."

Tickets for this show are priced €31 including booking fee, and go on sale this Friday August 13 at 9am.
