Mystery Jets announce Dublin show
They will play The Academy Green Room on November 29.
Mystery Jets have announced a gig in Dublin’s Academy Green Room on November 29.
The gig comes in support of their seventh studio album A Hole To See The Sky Through, due out 21 August via Fiction Records.
The album features two recently unveiled tracks: ‘Black Sage’, alongside opening track and title piece ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through I’.
Check out the title track below:
The record is titled after Yoko Ono’s minimalist masterpiece of the same name, and features the original work - a simple white postcard with a circle cut out - on its album cover, having been granted special permission by the artist herself.
It was written over the years since Mystery Jets’ 2020 last release, and recorded with producer Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, Wild Beasts, Frightened Rabbit).
Their Dublin show comes as the closing night to their UK and Ireland set to kick off in Glasgow on November 22, with stops in Manchester, London and Portsmouth along the way.
Tickets for Mystery Jets in Dublin go on sale this Friday, June 5 at 10am here.
