Olivia Rodrigo releases her first holiday song 'take me home (4 christmas)'

Olivia Rodrigo has released her first holiday song, 'take me home (4 christmas).'

'Take Me Home' is Rodrigo's follow-up to the David Byrne-starring video for her 'Expectations' remix with Chappell Roan. Both songs featured on her latest album You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love.

Celebrity guests Cynthia Nixon and Ben Marshall play a version of Head's Up, with everyone trying to guess the same name - Olivia Rodrigo - taped to their foreheads.

"take me home (4 christmas)' is out now," wrote Rodrigo online. "I wrote this song with Dan Nigro and Amy Allen last summer and I'm so happy it's finally close to Christmastime so I can share it with you guys!

"Huge shoutout to Ben Marshall and Cynthia Nixon, who are my favourite canonical red heads and who are absolutely amazing in this vid! Merry Christmas y'all!"

In August this year, Rodrigo launched her own benefit music festival, Daisy Chain Fields. The inaugural edition, took place in California and was inspired by Lilith Fair - the late 90's travelling music festival and concert tour that exclusively featured female, or female fronted artists.

The event raised $20 million for sponsors such as Planned Parenthood and Center for Reproductive Rights, she also debuted the Handmaid's Tale, inspired single, 'Serena Joy'.
