Leo Sayer announces career-spanning box-set Leothology: The Studio Albums 1973-Now

Leo Sayer has announced Leothology: The Studio Albums 1973-Now, a comprehensive, 220-track, career-spanning box-set showcasing his recorded studio output spread across 18 discs, due out on August 14 via Edsel Records/Demon Music.

Personally curated by Sayer, the box set collects his entire catalogue of recorded material (and more) for the first time, including all 16 original UK studio albums in mini-vinyl replica wallets, housed in a full-colour hard-shell outer box.

It also includes two previously unreleased albums; Don’t Wait Until Tomorrow – Live, a 2008 concert recorded in Melbourne, along with Return To Paradise, a brand new personally-curated 14-track compilation of previously unreleased tracks.

“I released a very limited-edition box-set a few years ago called Just A Box,” says Sayer. “But that sold out really quickly and didn’t include the four studio albums I’d recorded since moving to Australia. So, when Demon Music approached me recently with the idea of putting together this comprehensive Leothology box-set, which includes everything I’ve recorded so far, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to complete the picture.”

Accompanying the release, the musician also announced a final, full UK live tour for autumn 2026, kicking off in Bexhill-on-Sea De La Warr Pavilion on October 9 and wrapping up in Edinburgh on November 15, with stops in Birmingham, London, York, Liverpool, Glasgow and much more along the way.
