Bad Intentions
Shame that the subject matter sticks to the same niggaz/bitches/ muthafuckaz claptra
Dre reveals yet another protégé in a reasonably impressive cameo role in a back to basics offering of shuddering G-Funk. The best bit by far is a fab and fluttery flute sample that underpins this tune and elevates it above ordinary Dre fare. Shame that the subject matter sticks to the same niggaz/bitches/ muthafuckaz claptrap we’ve heard about a billion times by now. Even if your intentions are bad, at least make them a little bit interesting. The flipside is a reprise of ‘The Next Episode’ where good old Snoop reminds us how it’s done in his finest doggy style.
