The spectre of the immortal Wire lurks knowingly over the four pacy and scratchy punk-pop tunes which grace this e.p. from Congregation. At times they might be too clever for their own good but when they get it right as on ‘I Never Have Been Done’, then they really do sound like a class act. Keep an open ear in their direction.
