Angel
Kirsty MacColl: “Angel” (ZTT)
Kirsty MacColl: “Angel” (ZTT)
It was Virginia Woolf who described her mother as an angel of the house. Kirsty seems to be invoking a somewhat similar idea on this highly fashionable house-ish tune (no pun intended!), which has the obligatory four other mixes as well. It could go into Jane Campion’s stocking for The Piano. After all she made a film called Angel At My Table didn’t she?
