Mixtwitch may be from Dublin, but they have their ska/sk8er-boi personae down to a fine art. Currently causing waves at all-ages gigs across the capital, the band specialise in time-honoured, high-tempo metal pop. Recorded in California, natch, ‘All Bets Are Off’ bears little resemblance to most other Irish scene fodder, and for that at least we should be grateful.
