Alive & Clicking launches in The Grand Social
The Hot Press photo exhibition runs for the next six weeks.
There was a huge turnout last night for the official launch of Alive & Clicking, the Hot Press photo exhibition featuring the work of Trinity Street sharpshooters Ruth Medjber, Andrew Duffy and Graham Keogh.
Running for the next six weeks in The Grand Social on Dublin 1's Liffey Street, the show includes Florence Welch, Beyoncé, Iggy Pop. Bruce Springsteen, Wayne Coyne and, er, John Lydon’s hairy arse among its numerous subjects.
“There are a lot of people who call themselves ‘music photographers’ but few who’ve mastered the art like our Ruth, Andrew and Graham,” said HP Assistant Editor Stuart Clark. “They have a crazy fan’s love of music – and the ability, most of the time, to stay in focus!"
Among those admiring their artistry – and sinking a few complimentary Buds – were PIAS' Bernie Divilly, The Star's Shilpa Ganatra, Burrell Marketing's Roisin Ni Mhordha, fellow photographer Dave Cullen and producer Dave Christophers.
There was live music from Cloud Castle Lake and Veroa who both demonstrated why they’ve been getting rave reviews of late.
Alive & Clicking can be viewed free of charge during gig hours and on Sundays from 4 to 11pm.
