Agnes Obel, John Grant and Asgeir join Other Voices

We are pleased to announce that three more new artists have been added to Other Voices now eight strong line-up.

Agnes Obel’s arresting, melodic voice and complex, intriguing songs have earned her worldwide recognition. Winner of five Danish Music Awards, the classically trained pianist/singer has just released her exquisite second album, Aventine.

John Grant, the well-deserved winner of a host awards and accolades, has collaborated with Sinead O’Connor, Hercules & Love Affair and Rumer. His spellbinding performances and mature, sophisticated songs are much anticipated in Dingle this December.

Hugely popular in his native Iceland, Asgeir became an overnight sensation upon releasing his debut Dyrd í dauðathogn. (In The Silence) John Grant has assisted the talented 21 year old in the production of an English language version of the album, which is due out next year. Other Voices, however, may be privy to a special preview of the upcoming record.

Further acts include David Grey, Lisa O’ Niell, and Hozier, with more performers to be announced soon.
