Adele Tells Ellen She Cried After Her Grammy Performance
The superstar's show was plagued with sound issues
Adele has confessed that she "cried pretty much all day" after her difficult live performance at the Grammys.
While singing the track 'All I Ask', from her album 25, "the piano mics fell on to the piano strings, Adele confessed on twitter. "That's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens. X"
The singer spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about the incident. "It threw the whole thing off," Adele told Ellen. "Next time I have any sound issues, I am going to start over. [I will tell them] 'sorry, that's not working for me.' Otherwise… bye!"
"In fairness I would have cried if it went really well. If it was a standout performance, I would have cried as well. I always cry. I was so embarrassed. It can't get much worse than the Grammys."
