Abandoman announce Irish tour details
Lengthy summer jaunt scheduled for comedy hip-hop improv stars
Comedy hip-hoppers Abandoman have revealed details of an upcoming Irish tour.
The Life + Rhymes will feature the trademark blend of audience interaction and razor-sharp improvisation as audiences are taken on a magical journey, transforming the likes, loathes and daydreams into hit songs and captivating tales.
Already a hit on the festival circuit, the Abandoman mantlepiece is beginning to creak under the weight of awards, with the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, Musical Comedy Awards and the Adelaide Fringe Festival "Best Comedy - Newcomer" gongs already snapped up by the duo, who've also supported Ed Sheeran as he made the UK rounds.
For their home tour, they kick off at Roisin Dubh, Galway on May 20, before stops in Cyprus Avenue, Cork (21), Mandela Hall, Belfast (25), Sugar Club, Dublin (26), Daly’s Comedy Club, Omagh (27), O’Keeffes, Clonmel (June 9), Dolans, Limerick (10), and a brief afternoon stop at Portarlington's BARE In The Woods festival on June 11 before capping things off that night at Kavanaghs, Portlaoise.
Tickets, priced at €15 / £12 are on sale from Wednesday.
