A Certain Ratio play Dublin
The Manchester legends celebrate their 30th birthday in the Button Factory.
Dublin’s post-punk massive will be out in force on March 28 when A Certain Ratio bring their 30th anniversary tour to The Button Factory. Tickets are €17.
Memorably described as “Joy Division but better dressed” by the late Tony Wilson, the band were a key part of the Factory Records scene, with guitarist and trumpet-player Martin Moscrop serving as musical supervisor on 24 Hour Party People.
Support is provided by 202s, a Dublin outfit signed to the same French independent, Le Son Du Maquis, who last year released A Certain Ratio’s Mind Made Up album.
They’ve also got shows coming up in Dolan’s, Limerick (March 26 as part of the Green & Live Sessions) and Tripod, Dublin (April 3 + Fujiya & Miyagi).
