Currently being touted in many circles as the next big thing, it’s a pleasure to report that the London acoustic duo are actually rather good. Backed by a minimal band, ‘Underdog’ is an entirely charming cry for rescue from a lonely existence. In the hands of someone else, the song could have been turned into something overblown and horrible but Ollie Knights and Gale Paridjanian have created a gentle anthem for the forlorn. Also the only song ever written to mention WD40, which is a bonus.
