She’s young, beautiful, talented, Irish and everybody loves her. But somehow Gemma Hayes’ appeal remains something of a mystery to yours truly. True, the songs are always well turned out in the melody department, deftly performed and superbly produced. Perhaps it’s because I can have difficulty remembering her songs shortly after listening to them. This EP includes all three singles from her debut Night On My Side including ‘Hanging Around’, ‘Let A Good Thing Go’ and ‘Back of My Hand’.
