Trailer and release date shared for Barry Keoghan-starring Bring Them Down
Bring Them Down is set to be released to UK and Irish cinemas on February 7, 2025.
MUBI have announced the release date of Christopher Andrews’ directorial debut Bring Them Down,
Bring Them Down, is set in present-day rural Ireland, featuring Irish actors including Barry Keoghan, Colm Meaney, Nora-Jane Noone and Susan Lynch.
Following two feuding farming families, the film is led by Michael (Christopher Abbot) and his rival farmer Gary alongside his unpredictable son Jack (Barry Keoghan). Ongoing conflict brings up old tensions, and triggers an increasingly violent chain of events, leaving both families permanently altered.
The film has been nominated for the Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director (Christopher Andrews), as well as Breakthrough Producer (Jacob Swan Hyam) at this year’s British Independent Film Awards.
Receiving its world premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, Bring Them Down was also selected for BFI London Film Festival 2024.
The feature was recast before heading into production, as Paul Mescal dropped out of his role as Jack. Christopher Abbott's role was also recast, as Tom Abbot had been previously announced to play role of Michael.
Bring Them Down is set to be released to UK and Irish cinemas on February 7, 2025.
